This year's Ten Of The Best will again take place at Elvington Airfield, near York, and will be sponsored by Japanese Performance magazine, in association with Millers Oils. It is an all action event to find the best all-round modified car in the UK. The three disciplines are; quarter mile drag, top speed runs and handling. No, there is no prize for the car with the shiniest wheel nuts.... This is all-action, and very serious. Last year's top speed event was won by Olly Clark in the RCM Impreza at 189.4mph. The 'slowest' (!) car in tenth place clocked up 173.1mph. Is that serious enough for you?
